Finally, after a few years of debate, trial, and error the official full version of Game Maker is available for download! Unfortunately, it is a bit of a downgrade as this is Game Maker 7, but it does have some nice new features such as an automatic updater.

The downside? Your Windows license won’t carry over – you will need to buy a new license for your Mac and it appears that there is no “lite” version for the Mac, just a 10 hour trial then you are forced to update.

If you get in before September 1st, the will give you a $5 USD discount and you can snag it up for $20 USD. Seems like a small window, so you better go grab yours now!

If you are new to programming the prospect of using gml may seem daunting however reading this guide is likely to be a great help to you. How easily you can learn to use gml will depend on how much experience you have already gained using drag & drop and your ability to think logically. However with some practice and learning most people will be able to grasp the general concepts behind coding.

The guide will be best suited for people who have been messing around with DnD (Drag & Drop) for a little while and are now looking to move onto using gml, however it can be useful for all beginning levels. I am of course always interested in suggestions people have on changing / adding content to the guide and any feedback in general.

Sorry guys, the gig is up. As I am in physics I receiced an email saying WHFFs files were deleted, and i am bring kicked ofd my host. This is my w3D engine (short for wannabe 3d), a fake 3d engine perfect for platformers and topdown games.
